DOT/MC Authorized
24/7 Dispatch
Secure Payments
1) Scope & who we are
Connexzia (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides logistics coordination, dispatch and related services. This policy explains how we handle information across our website (https://www.connexzia.com), email/SMS communications, and the public loadboard.
We are not a motor carrier or a freight broker; carriers operate under their own USDOT/MC authority.
2) Data we collect
Information you provide
- Contact details (name, company, email, phone) when you request quotes, post loads, subscribe to alerts, or contact dispatch.
- Account details if you register (email, password hash, role, profile fields).
- Load and route details you post (origins/destinations, equipment, weight, dates, notes).
Information we generate or collect automatically
- Usage and device data (IP, user-agent, pages visited, approximate location derived from IP).
- Cookies and similar identifiers (see Cookies & analytics).
Information from third parties
- Public safety/authority data (e.g., FMCSA records for brokers/carriers).
- Payment and invoicing metadata (from our payment or email providers, if used).
3) Where data comes from (incl. FMCSA)
We maintain a broker directory and carrier records that may incorporate public datasets and government publications, including
FMCSA’s Licensing & Insurance and Census data. Typical fields include legal/DBA name, MC/FF/US DOT numbers, status flags,
and limited public contact fields. We treat this as public business information and will honor substantiated corrections or removal requests from the entity.
To request a correction to a broker profile, email
logistics@connexzia.com
with your MC/FF/US DOT number, the profile URL, and the exact changes you’re requesting.
4) How we use data
- Operate the site and loadboard, match shippers and carriers, and process inquiries.
- Provide dispatch and customer support (phone, SMS, email).
- Detect abuse, prevent fraud, and ensure platform integrity.
- Improve services, analytics, and site performance.
- Send operational notices (e.g., account, security, changes to service).
- With consent or as allowed by law, send marketing about new features or services (you can opt out anytime).
5) How we share data
- Operational service providers: hosting, email/SMS, analytics, map/geocoding—only what they need to provide their services, under contract.
- Counterparties you contact: when you inquire about a load or capacity, your contact details are shared with the relevant party.
- Legal & safety: to comply with law, enforce terms, or protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, or similar change of control, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some analytics/advertising technologies could be considered a “sale”/“sharing” under state laws—see Your choices.
6) Cookies & analytics
We use essential cookies for security, session management, and preferences. We may also use measurement cookies (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand traffic and improve the site. You can control cookies in your browser and via our cookie preferences tool.
Blocking cookies may impact functionality like login or saved filters.
7) Loadboard specifics
- Load posts may be public (route, equipment, miles, compensation, notes). Avoid including sensitive personal data in notes.
- Quick-look and route maps use third-party tiles/geocoding; the provider may process IP and request metadata.
- When you click “Call/Text/Email,” your device/app handles the action; your carrier or email provider will process that event.
8) Security & data retention
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method is 100% secure. We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, to comply with legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. We may retain aggregated or de-identified data.
9) Your privacy rights (U.S.)
Depending on your state (e.g., CA, CO, CT, VA, UT), you may have rights to:
- Know/access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we’ve collected.
- Correct inaccuracies.
- Delete personal information (subject to lawful exceptions).
- Opt out of “sale”/“sharing” or targeted advertising.
- Non-discrimination for exercising rights.
To exercise a right, use the links below or email us. We’ll verify your request and respond per applicable law. Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authority.
10) Your choices & controls
11) International users
Our services are operated in the United States. If you access from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. where data protection laws may differ from your jurisdiction.
12) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. We’ll post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
